ENERGY AUDITOR

ENERGY AUDITOR

Tri-CAP seeks an Energy Auditor for its low-income weatherization, heating systems, and electric efficiency programs.  Once trained, the Energy Auditor will be primarily responsible for both electric assessments and residential weatherization audits, but may also conduct heating system evaluations and in process and quality control inspections.  The Energy Auditor will perform CFL and refrigeration upgrades, perform heat loss assessments, and analyze and interpret electric use data to recommend savings strategies to low-income clients in utility programs.  The Energy Auditor may interact with vendors and help ensure the quality and thoroughness of their work for Tri-CAP’s energy programs.

Qualifications:
·         Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of related work experience required. 
·         Energy auditor, LEED, &/or BPI certification preferred.
·         Three years experience in energy conservation, heating systems service, and/or construction a plus.
·         Knowledge of energy conservation principles and methodologies, including insulation, blower doors, thermal imaging, air sealing, and heating systems helpful. 
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. 
·         Energetic, flexible, highly motivated, and well-organized. 
·         Experience working with low income populations preferred. 
·         Vehicle and a valid MA driver’s license required.

·         Bilingual skills a plus (Chinese, Haitian Creole, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese).

Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Software Systems Architect will lead the design effort on a variety of
projects in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment. Your role is to
design and integrate desktop and web based applications with a high volume
data transaction system. You should have expert knowledge designing a highly
redundant, scalable enterprise transaction processing system from front end
to back end. You should have implemented systems that include multi-vendor
database systems and have expert knowledge transferring data efficiently
between the two systems.

In addition you should have been a technical lead for a team that developed,
and deployed to thousands of users, client facing web applications using
Microsoft technology including .Net and Silverlight. In that role you worked
with developers and business analysts to create innovate and exciting
applications.

You will work closely with product and marketing managers, user interaction
designers, and software engineers to develop new product offerings and
improve existing ones. This position reports to the Executive VP of Software
and Technology.

Responsibilities:

· Expert knowledge in analyzing, designing and developing solutions
to highly complex problems.
· Strong experience working in all phases of software development,
design patterns, and development methodologies including Agile
· Previous experience designing and developing high
traffic/enterprise web applications with a focus on performance and
scalability
· Previous experience designing and developing high throughput,
highly scalable transaction based invoicing systems.
· Expert level knowledge of .Net 3.5 and 4.0 web application
development
· Ability to mentor development staff while implementing best
practices and improve the development process
· Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and other data bus
architectures
· Experience with enterprise e-commerce applications
· Ability to identify risks or problems with current processes and
procedures and recommend changes.
· Coordinate training participation for IT team members.
· Other duties as assigned by the EVP Software and Technology

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelor's of Science degree, preferably in Computer Science or
related field.
· 10 – 15 years of experience that is directly related to the duties
and responsibilities specified.
· Highly experienced building and implementing model-driven,
enterprise-level business solutions.
· Expert knowledge of all phases of software development including
design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of
large-scale, business centric and process based applications.
· Highly proficient in a variety of technologies including, but not
limited to, C#, .Net, Silverlight, Oracle, MS/SQL, Ajax, HTML, XML, MQ, ETL
tools.
· Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented
techniques and principles.
· Specialization in a functional area or industry domain, including
healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
· Demonstrated leadership and/or mentorship abilities and
professional communication skills.

Global Food Security Policy Analyst
Bread for the World, seeks an individual to work with a legislative strategy and lobbying team on global food security issues.  The analyst will research assigned issues, propose policy recommendations, prepare position papers, recommend grassroots action, and develop working relationships with congressional staff, administration officials and non-governmental coalition partners.

SOCIAL SERVICE COORDINATOR -- SENIOR CENTER

The Town of Danvers is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as our Social Service Coordinator at our Senior Center facility.

Reporting to the Director of Senior/Social Services, the Social Service Coordinator assists the Director in assessing and responding to social service needs of all residents of Danvers.  This includes outreach to at-risk, isolated or needy seniors by means of home visits and on-going case management.  Assists all residents with access to public benefits such as housing, food stamps, fuel assistance, etc.  Position is responsible for facilitating support groups.  Participates on area coalitions and partnerships focused on servicing home-bound and others in need.

This is a 30-hour-per-week position requiring a Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field.  LSW or MSW preferred.  Also should have knowledge of Aging Networks and local social service resources and knowledge of public benefits and ability to work with clients in accessing them in a timely manner.

Ideal for high school students, residents and others with a keen interest in American Revolutionary history and knowledge of Lexington historic sites and businesses.  

As ambassadors for Lexington, guides will greet visitors and explain local Revolutionary history.  Qualifications are a love of history, a dramatic flair, a willingness to dress in colonial clothing and the ability to work outdoors on the Battle Green for up to four hours a day.

The Public Works Department has an opening in the Parks Division for a full time W-2 Laborer/Truck Driver.
