As our new Junior .NET Developer you will work with a superb team to cultivate application solutions for Sitecore CMS websites, dive into radical problem solving challenges and brainstorm endlessly as to how to improve process and implement new and interesting technologies. You will:
• Develop application solutions for Sitecore CMS websites using latest industry standards and best practices
• Design software application components using ASP.Net (C#) and other programming tools
• Execute routine maintenance and bug fixes to existing applications to make them work and work well
• Communicate effectively with project managers and development team members to facilitate understanding of deliverables, timing estimates and prioritization and to understand inefficiencies in existing applications and create solutions
• Participate in knowledge improvement opportunities and the documentation of technical specifications and problem solving
• Research and implement emerging technologies and search for ways to apply them to current projects.
• Consistently acknowledge and appreciate each team member's contributions
• Have an infectious, positive, can-do attitude and relentless aspiration for self-improvement
The Fit
This job is just right if you:
• Have a completed bachelor's degree in related area
• Have a minimum of two years' development experience with Content Management Systems
• Have experience with web development using ASP.NET (C#), SQL Server, web services, and source control
• Have a working understanding of Windows Server and IIS setup and configuration
• Have previously demonstrated skills in presentation layer technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, AJAX
Extra Credit
• Sitecore and Microsoft Certification is a significant plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft CRM/Dynamics, Active Directory, and SharePoint
**Candidates must be eligible to work in the US. This position is located in Cambridge, MA.
