Position Title: Receptionist Department: Administration
Reports To: Director of Operations Position Summary:
This two days a week part-time position is responsible for coordinating administrative functions
for HAWC’s Salem office. Responsibilities include front office reception, mail distribution,
office upkeep and assistance with administrative tasks as needed.
Position Experience: Proven interpersonal and communication skills—phone and in person
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities
Problem solving and decision-making
Computer proficiency
Bilingual in Spanish
Position Details:
Provides phone and front office reception, problem solving and referral
Schedules appointments for clients
Picks up and distributes mail
Maintains and updates staff and Board directories
Posts jobs and corresponds with applicants
Reviews newspapers for HAWC and related articles
Assists with donations
Oversees general office upkeep
Provides administrative support as needed: copying, mailing, filing, etc.
Participates in supervision and staff meetings
