Title: Senior Software Engineer - Java/JSF/SQL/iOS

TeachPoint (goteachpoint.com) is an exiting new product in the K-12 education market, helping schools meet stringent new teacher evaluation standards using best-of-breed mobile and cloud technology. Our iPad app, and complimentary web application, provides the mobility, convenience, and collaboration that users need to develop better teaching and higher student achievement nationwide.
Position
The ideal candidate is a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Java/JSF, SQL, HTML, CSS, and some iOS or other mobile development experience. You'll work directly with the CTO to plan, design, and implement the product for the Linux and iOS platforms. You'll be responsible for oversight and direction of one or more outsource developers, when required.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data model
Develop server-side Java/JSF core web application
Design client/server protocol for mobile device synchronization
Design and implement new community features for customer interaction
Oversight of iOS feature development
Extend integrated CRM and system administration features
Qualifications
5+ years of development experience.
BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
Experience in Java/JSF, SQL, iOS, HTML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript
Exceptional problem solving skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Great team player
