Schedule: M-F, some weekends, evenings
This is a new position for a group of 9 Pediatricians affiliated with Emerson Hospital. Under the direction of the department chief and the associate nurse leader, the Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive pediatric care. Clinical care includes a range of wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care and telephone advice. Must possess the ability to assess clinical problems, determine priorities of care, design and implement a treatment plan and seek and utilize consultation appropriately. This is an opportunity to join a well-established practice with a fully integrated EMR.
The NP must have graduated from a master's level state and NLN approved NP program and possess state licensure to practice in the expanded role. NCCPA certification licensure is required. Possession and maintenance of or eligibility for DEA and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration. Two years of Pediatric experience with strong preference for experience within an ambulatory setting.
