PLUMBERS & PIPEFITTERS - MEN & WOMEN - Applications for Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 4 are accepted the first Tuesday of each month from 9 AM - 3 PM, at 150 Hartwell Street, West Boylston, MA. If the first Tuesday is a holiday, applications will be accepted the second Tuesday of the month. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and live in the geographical jurisdiction of Local 4 (Worcester County). Eligibility requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years old; complete an apprenticeship application; provide a copy of a valid drivers license; be able to provide a copy of high school diploma or GED AND copies of all transcripts or GED test results upon request; and, if applicable, a copy of your DD-214. Acceptance is based on the need for new apprentices and the qualifications of applicants. Availability depends on work availability subject to industry demand and economic conditions. Apprentices work in a variety of conditions both indoors and outdoors, including exposure to: outdoor weather locations, high place locations, very hot or very cold temperatures, contaminants and others.
