Paid volunteers are needed for a study that investigates brain activity/thinking processes and involves monitoring activity of the brain while performing simple tasks. You will be asked to lie inside a magnetic resonance (MR) scanner so that images of your brain can be obtained during task performance. Cognitive tasks, including paper and computer tasks, will also be administered.
The study takes place at MGH in Charlestown, MA, over the course of 2 visits. The first visit is for the MRI scan and takes up to 2 hours in the scanner and up to 1 hour outside the scanner. The second visit is for cognitive tasks and will take up to 2 hours.
Compensation is $25/hour plus:
• additional $5 for transportation OR
• a parking validation sticker in our garage.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
• Be 18-35 years of age
• Be in good general health
• Be a native English speaker
