COORDINATED FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT GRANT PROJECT COORDINATOR

WORKING TIME:
The Project will run for 46 weeks per year, 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.

REMUNERATION:
The Project Coordinator be compensated $20 per hour x 30 hours per week for a total of $600 per week and $28,874 per year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma
  • Drivers license and a car
  • CORI check
  • Three letters of reference
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Community familiarity

DUTIES:
Conduct universal outreach in the community for parents of children from birth to age eight by providing the following:
  • Distribution of community resources in English, Haitian Creole, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese
  • Information on parenting and child development from birth to age eight
  • Support for parents and children in time of need
  • Information on healthcare; physical, dental and mental
  • Information on school programs, public and private, in the Everett community
  • Information on family literacy opportunities
  • Outreach to high risk families with information needed to help them function successfully
  • Collaboration with the public schools on available services
  • Information on community activities for the purpose of being inclusive and providing network opportunities for parents
  • A manual outlining services available in the Everett Community
  • Outreach to families with newborns in order to provide information on available community services
  • Participation in community activities
  • Transitional support for parents and children
  • Playgroups for children ages one to four
