Position Summary:
Line Management of Project Managers for the Finance domain group.
· Strategic focus on developing and managing long term relationships
with Business and Service units in support of the development and
maintenance of the firm’s Corporate Finance systems environment. Works to
define, prioritize, and execute balanced program of IT projects related to
the business needs.
· Responsible for the management of multiple large-scale,
cross-functional programs and projects that may integrate major technologies
and/or business components.
· Understands the regulatory environment of the CRO industry and the
business needs of the firm.
· Responsible for the management of worldwide projects, including
implementation of new technologies and solutions.
· Responsible for worldwide team leadership of diverse project
resources.
· Identify opportunities for improving business operations through
more effective, standardized use of technology and project management
methodologies.
· Contribute to the definition and development of worldwide
operating processes, procedures and standards.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· BS/MS in a Business/Technology discipline
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification - Excellent
people, program, and project management skills
· 10 years of line management experience leading the delivery of
systems and applications in support of the Corporate Finance domain.
· Oracle applications (version 11i and 12) and AIM skills/experience
· Strong functional understanding of Corporate Finance and Oracle
Financials
· Proven ability to manage a team of IT Project Managers
· Strong ability to manage relationships with senior leadership team
business partners and stake holders
· Implementation experience in the Oracle eBusiness Suite
