Production Operator I

Waltham, MA
Basic Summary
Associate will be trained in assembly and inspection processes for various medical devices at BVI Waltham. The Production Operator I is expected to achieve company quality standards on all products and is required to follow procedures to maximize productivity and minimize scrap/rework. Associate is expected to follow company safety procedures including reporting safety issues to Group Leader, Value Stream Leader or Facilities department. Overtime work and/or support of other departments may be required on an as needed basis. Associate should be willing to obtain necessary skills and training for continued growth and development. Associate will work in a team-oriented environment and work within the team to achieve team goals. Associate must also participate in Lean manufacturing activities by using Lean tools such as, but not limited to, Kaizen Action Sheets (KAS), Problem Solving and 5S.
Requirements
A high school or trade school diploma, or the equivalent, is required. Zero – 12 months of manufacturing experience is requested. Associate must be able to use selected measurement and magnification equipment with continuous attention to
