Position Summary:
The Senior Income Developer will work in IT to design, develop, and support
databases and applications, which support Fixed Income portfolio management
and trading.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Portfolio analytics data warehouse (C#, Ruby and SQL Server)
· Order management system (C# and SQL Server)
· Outbound SWIFT message interface (Ruby and SQL Server)
· Inbound FIX interface (C# and SQL Server)
· Analyze and resolve production system issues independently or in
conjunction with business system analysts.
· Maintain and enhance the existing code for all applications within
the investment systems group domain.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Extensive experience in SQL Server programming (Transact-SQL)
· Relational data modeling
· Data warehousing and ETL
· Extensive knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
· C# 3.5, .NET Framework 4.0, Entity Framework, and LINQ
· Ruby, code generation, and DSLs
· Crystal Reports
· Version control software (particularly Subversion)
· Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to
communicate with non-technical investment professionals
· Familiarity with investment, fixed income and financial markets
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Math, Engineering,
or Sciences preferred
