Position Summary:
The MIS Program Manager is responsible for running complex suite of programs
and projects. Ranging from the designing and development, through post
production support, planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and
deliverables, defining requirements and planning the project life cycle
deployment, identifying and solving project issues effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Responsible for running complex suite of programs and projects.

· Plan and schedule project goals, milestones and deliverables
· Define requirements and plan the project life cycle deployment
· Define resources and schedule for project and program
implementation
· Identify and resolve project issues effectively
· Act as liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
· Oversee and direct the project engineering team and manage
conflicts within the different groups
· Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the
acquisition of required personnel from within the company
· Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants
and make the appropriate recruitments to support project demands if
necessary
· Responsible to report program metrics to the Project Management
Office (PMO)
· Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team;
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
· Develop RFP (Requests for Proposals) for external services
· Develop and deliver requirements, documentation, and presentations
in conjunction with business analysts
· Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and
contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability
for their assigned work.
· Conduct project post mortems to identify successful and
unsuccessful project elements.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Strong familiarity with project management tools
· Familiar with programming languages, including in Microsoft Visual
Basic, .NET and ASP.Net
· Database and operating systems experience
· Demonstrated experience in personnel management
· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment is essential
· Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through
analytical and problem-solving capabilities
· Ability to work on multiple project simultaneously
· Ability to read communication styles of team members and
contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
· Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
· Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and
products
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
high-pressure environment is crucial
· Bachelor degree in Business or Technology
