Extrusion Operator in Wilmington (through Manpower)
Temp to Perm Opportunity $ 15-$18/hour No benefits 6pm-6am rotating shift & weekends.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Basic Math and Computer Skills
· 1-5 years related Extrusion Experience
· Basic understanding of plastics process
· Good Communication Skills/Ability to work with a team
· Ability to read and follow written procedures.
Duties include: Start extrusion process. Maintain size and appearance of finished product while using established tolerances. Clean extruders and related equipment. Maintain documentation of run time condition and variations.
Reduce size of polyurethane slabs using hydraulic guillotine and granulator. Package finished granules & pellets. Calculate quantity/add anti-blocking agent.
Ability to work on forklift, electric pallet jack, scales, strapping machine, stretch wrapper, drum mover, drum tipper, blenders, guillotine, granulators, skids, etc. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions. Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area.

· Good Communication skills/ability to work in team environment.
· HS Diploma or GED required
Job Duties:
Ability to read and follow written procedures and wear PPE as required. Responsible for accurate weighing and mixing of raw materials to manufacture cakes of polyurethane. Off load ovens, pour batches, load hotbox as scheduled. Clean liners, trays, ovens, racks and floors as needed. Maintain records. Move materials as necessary. Ability to work on forklift, electric pallet jack, scales, strapping machine, stretch wrapper, drum mover, drum tipper, skids, etc. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions. Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area.
