 Overview

Responsible for directing the Corporation’s accounting functions and control environments. Specific areas

include the management of all financial and cost accounting functions, development of planning, budgeting and

forecasting systems, analysis of trends requiring senior management’s attention, the preparation of financial,

managerial and cost accounting reports and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to top

management. Responsible for accounting information systems. Also responsible for proactively analyzing the

processes and procedures currently employed to record transactions and designing and implementing

improvements that will facilitate the Company’s continued dynamic growth. Manage the Corporation’s Sarbanes-

Oxley process design, documentation and testing efforts.

 

Work Experience/Education Requirements

 

BS Degree in Accounting with twelve to fifteen years of experience. Significant experience in a manufacturing

environment is required. Experience in international operations is strongly desired.

Position Responsibilities - Summary

The SOA Developer will work closely with business users and IT teams to
design and implement an enterprise architecture to support the needs of the
business. He will discover, analyze and develop reusable assets that can be
leveraged via a SOA implementation and promote the adoption of these
reusable assets. He will provide technical and thought leadership in both
system integration as well as application development and promote best
practices in these areas. Strong communication skills will be needed to
develop and nurture working relationships with both business users and
technical teams to ensure smooth integration between systems.

Required Skills and Competencies:
· 5+ years experience in software development with emphasis on
system integration.
· Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills

Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Equity Trading team is seeking a Senior or Core QA engineer (position
dependent on the experience) to be an integral member of the QA team
responsible for the testing efforts for the new Equity Trading platform that
is currently being developed.

Key Responsibilities;

· Participate in the development of the testing strategy based on
the application requirements for the new Equity Trading platform
· Develop and execute test cases for the new system
· Develop automation and performance scripts
· Work with the Project Managers and the Technical Leads to provide
them estimates, statuses, identify issues and risks.
· Stay current with the QA best practices, methodologies and
technologies.

Key to this Position:

1. 5 plus years of QA experience with strengths that include performance
and functional testing. The candidate should have automated experience with
QTP.
2. Financial services is required. Experience with Trading Systems is a
strong plus.
3. We are looking for a candidate that has leadership potential that can
grow into a lead role over time.
4. The individual will work on a team of 5 to 7 QA Engineers that will grow
to 10 plus next year.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Five plus years experience in development, analysis or QA
· Knowledge with all aspects of testing, including functional,
structural, regression, load and performance testing
· Knowledge of the QA tools such as QC, QTP and Load runner
· Interest in pursuing a career in the QA engineering practice
· Ability to work with a team of offshore and onshore-based vendor
QA resources
· Knowledge of the Agile development and project management
processes
· Ability to diagnose and identify performance and stability issues
in large, complex applications
· Knowledge of Linux, Oracle database and SQL

Senior Principal Engineer (Mechanical)
In a Supervisory capacity, plans, develops, coordinates, and directs a number of large and important Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing and or Fire Protection) engineering and/or multi-disciplinary projects or an individual specific project of major scope and importance, and/or is responsible for the entire engineering program of limited complexity and scope. Serves as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes for an assigned area of responsibility (i.e., subject matter, function, type of facility or equipment, or product). Keeps abreast of new scientific methods and developments affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in emphasis of programs or new programs warranted by such developments. As a Staff Specialist, typically oversees work of a large staff of engineers, including a few (3 to 5) subordinate supervisors or team leaders with at least one in a position comparable to a Principal Engineer. Recognized leader of technical and professional staff. Includes a high degree of Management responsibility, including establishing and management of project budget/cost controls and technical responsibilities. Typically will be responsible for report writing, project client deliverables and project quality control. Requires participation in presentations, external client contacts and other external meetings. Position requires a motivated self-starter and involves responsibility for new business and Business Development activities including teaming, scope, fee, proposals and presentations. Must possess good technical and engineering design/planning skills, computer, analytical/financial/project management skills, and strategic planning as well as good verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. The majority of the work involves HVAC design for new and/or renovated facilities however; a general knowledge of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems is required. Also must possess good relationship building and supervisory coaching skills. CAD Technician
Seeking a candidate with experience in drawing preparation for bridge structures to apply basic knowledge of computer-aided drafting practices and engineering drawings. The successful candidate will prepare drawings, plans, profiles, cross sections, schedules, structural details, or copies of such drawings and make changes and revisions as instructed and from marked prints, sketches or manufacturer's drawings. Work may involve consolidation of details from a number of sources and adjustment or transposing scales as needed. Will provide assistance with routine plan production and organization tasks as directed. Good organizational and analytical skills are required. Inspector
This is a temporary and/or short-term on-site position representing FST and Project Client for projects located in Northwest Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Hours may range between 20-40 per week. Project(s) may involve wastewater, water, stormwater and/or roadway/civil-site work. Duties will be to observe all phases of construction activities for compliance with design documents and Client standards. General responsibilities include: observation and documentation of work performed; review of contractor requisitions for payment; documentation of work, as constructed; preparation of daily reports; attendance at progress meetings. Must be willing and able to work with short notice, on short term, temporary assignments. Associates degree in engineering, or closely related field, as well as a minimum of five years experience serving in similar capacity for public works projects required. P.E. not necessary, but beneficial. Must be familiar with trench dewatering, backfilling and compaction of utility trenches and pavement/surface restoration. Must have a valid driver's license. Desire candidate with experience in observing construction of public works infrastructure improvement projects and in reviewing and understanding construction documents for public works projects, record keeping, evaluation of work completed and/or proposed [i.e.: change orders]. Familiarity with construction procedures and scheduling of work sequences desired. OSHA training/certification and Confined Space Entry certification is beneficial (or will train, if needed for particular assignment).
