Job Description :
Responsible for executing on a pilot program of telephone marketing campaigns, lead qualification and the sale of consumables to existing customers for the Analytical Sciences division of a global manufacturer of laboratory analytical instrumentation.

As part of a geographic specific Sales Team, the Inside Tele Sales Professional is responsible for the joint sales effort to drive growth objectives in our consumables and accessories business unit. Duties include presenting the company's capabilities in the marketplace, aggressive prospecting and new business development. This role serves as a key interface to the end user customers in representing the company's products and services in an assigned territory. The Inside Tele Sales Professional is responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns in support of Business Unit objectives in effort to generate qualified leads, and close orders.

Key Responsibilities:
The Inside Tele Sales Representative is responsible for consumables and accessory sales within a designated sales territory and market segment, selling assigned product lines in combination with Field-based Sales Professionals in that territory. Execute a sales plan that is part of the region's and company's strategic objectives. Account management of our current customer base, identification of new targeted accounts, and improvement of overall market share and profitability. Utilize resources effectively.

- Build and grow new sales revenue for the consumables and accessory business
- Meet or exceed quotas within assigned territory while supporting management's strategic objectives
- Utilize competitive information and marketplace data where appropriate to assist sales representatives with territory development
- Analyze sales leads and offer the most competitive pricing plan to meet the client's needs
- Develop and present proposals and maintain Prospect/Suspect sales funnels.
- Maintain sales records and up to date activity on progress to provide accurate forecasting reports
- Communicate with the field on business strategies within assigned territory.

Lead Generation. The Inside Tele Sales Professional is responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns within the assigned geography and market segment in support of business unit objectives. These campaigns will be structured in conjunction with the territory segment leader and the Business Unit. These campaigns will include tele-prospecting customer accounts and prospective accounts for qualified opportunities. Expected measures will include call volume metrics, lead generation metrics, lead quality metrics, and proper sales channel distribution.

Teamwork. The Inside Tele Sales Professional will work closely with regional sales team, market segment, and service team members in order to promote a high level of sales productivity, sales efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Inside Tele Sales Professional will provide local support for planned customer event throughout the year, support the territory CRM strategy, and provide feedback to management on industry trends and customers growth opportunities

Experience with analytical instrumentation such as GC, FTIR, AA, ICP, UV, or HPLC a plus

BS Degree, science discipline preferred

previous experience in a laboratory environment helpful

Overview:
Think the cross roads of social gaming and consumer personal finance. We are creating a way for consumers to think, feel, transact differently about spending and saving their money.

Responsibilities:
Software architecture, building scalable data and web architecture for a new consumer app in Financial Services/Banking space. This app will have many iterations as a result of ongoing market testing and therefore needs to be granular in its data and flexible in its architecture.

Lead the team in integration with Credit Card and Commercial Banking APIs Work with founding team on use-ability and UE, in design and implementation of features for high scalability, low latency, front-end display etc. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to founding team. Hopefully instill Agile/Scrum process and engineering culture early on. Help in Presenting technical vision to internal and external customers. Hands on technical role, including implementation and site operational tasks.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:
2-5+ years of SW Architecture experience, including large dataset and high volume experience – (It would be great if there was Experience integrating with CC and or Commercial Banking APIs and/or experience in the financial services/banking or related industries - but not required).

5+ years of SW Engineering experience, including startup
Strong familiarity with Web programming languages and technologies.
Experience dealing with large data sets and associated data management/DBMS issues.
Demonstrated success with high volume, high availability Web services.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Skills in the following would be ideal however we are flexible in our approach.

Position Summary:

The Program Administrator, Workforce Development is a member of the Human Resources team and reports directly to the Director of Workforce Development.  The person in this role will:

·         Work with the Director of Workforce Development to launch programs to help employees build skills and move forward in their careers.

·         Oversee program marketing and outreach to BIDMC employees and supervisors, and employees and supervisors of other hospitals, when appropriate.

·         Schedule program events and courses.

·         Counsel employees, create individual educational plans for each employee, and monitor employee progress to assure program(s’) success.

·         Manage program and report regularly on program outcomes and employee progress.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities

·      Craft implementation plan for launch of BIDMC Workforce Development Programs.

·      Create marketing and informational materials for employees and supervisors.

·      When applicable, manage purchase of courses from community college and other vendors and manage logistics of holding courses on-site.

·      Counsel employees, including:

o   Helping them think through whether a career path is a good fit for them;

o   Helping them assess whether they can commit the time and effort needed to be successful in a program;

o   Helping them prepare to take on academic coursework in addition to their jobs; and

o   Helping them be successful in the work and academic settings.

·      Monitor employee progress and intervene with additional supports when necessary and appropriate.

·      Enroll employees in courses purchased from colleges and held on site at BIDMC, including:

o   Setting class time, date, location and cost;

o   Serving as liaison between employee and college where appropriate; and

o   Assuring all paperwork is complete to enroll employee.

·      Report regularly on progress against program goals.

·      Continually assess program performance and consider ways to improve program delivery.

·      Report on program expenditures.

·      Work collaboratively with BIDMC Workforce Development and BIDMC Human Resources team members.

·      Other duties as required.

Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

§  Master’s Degree preferred, Bachelors’ degree required, in business, education, public administration or related field or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

§  Extensive program implementation experience, preferably in a career development, training or educational environment (minimum 3 years’ experience required.)

§  A proven track record of results in a complex environment where multi-tasking and excellent judgment and decision-making skills are required.

§  Experience providing one-on-one career or educational counseling.

§  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

§  Excellent program management skills.

§  Highly attentive to detail.

§  Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to learn quickly.

§  Job requires some evening and occasional weekend work.
