PeopleSoft Financials Programmers (2) - Norwell
These 2 new positions are located at our Norwell Headquarters. No Agencies Please.
Summary: Responsible for new development and production support of the PeopleSoft Financial system (version 8.8) consisting of the following modules: Expense, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Asset Management and General Ledger. Also upgrading HRIS from 8.9 to 9.1.
Debug production programs / processes where needed.
Develop new program / processes as needed using the following tools:
• SQR
• Crystal
• People Tools
• PeopleCode
• Aplication Engine
• Component Interface
• Application designer
Assist business users when needed
Develop reports using PS reporting tools – query, nVision and drilldowns to assist in month-end close process
Improve upon system performance where needed by rewriting programs, reviewing indexes and redefining processes
Assist in the processes for new installations and conversion to updated software revisions (such as implementation of PS Asset Management)
Performs other assignments as assigned by management
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2 – 3 years' PeopleSoft experience (version 8.x), preferably Financials (EX, AP, AR, PO, GL, AM). HRIS (PeopleSoft Payroll, Benefits etc) helpful
• Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial modules (EX, AP, AR, PO,GL, AM)
Competencies:
• Strong technical skills
• PeopleTools (version 8.x) PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Designer, SQR, SQL
