The training includes some industry site visits and details will be provided for these.
Attendance Policy:
Students are expected to attend and participate in all class sessions. Students should call or email the instructor if they have to miss a class. Excessive unexplained absences will result in students being asked to leave the program.
Tardiness: When students walk in late, teaching and the attention of other students is disrupted. Repeated lateness will result in students being asked to leave the program.
Internships:
Our local Hotel and Restaurant employer partners are providing internship sites for this program. During the initial 7 week classroom training we will assess your career interests and skills and match students with an appropriate internship site. Where possible we will take account of your location preference. Students are expected to fully participate in the internship training. The internship training will commence April 19 for 4 weeks comprising 15 hours per week.
