{Career Place} The New England Job Show

The New England Job Show

As a public service to its viewers, Comcast has added The New England Job Show (NEJS) to its video on demand menu in New England. NEJS provides job seeking tips from experts as well as videos of job seekers. Access to the program is available 24/7.

To watch NEJS on your TV, enter On Demand, scroll to Get Local, then New England Shows and finally, NE Job Show.

The New England Job Show is produced by volunteers using Chelmsford's TeleMedia Studios in Massachusetts with satellite studios in other other locations including Amherst and Merrimack, New Hampshire. The show is sponsored by The Merrimack Valley Rotary Club.

Thanks for watching!

Broadcast Yourself to Elevate Your Message!
Through sponsorship from Rotary International, the New England Job Show
has initiated a free program of taping "elevator pitches" to help in the
delivery of your job seeking messages to potential employers. The New
England Job Show is produced by job seekers for job seekers.

What is an Elevator Pitch?
Basically it's a 30 second commercial you make about yourself. Its purpose
is to promote your value in an articulate and brief manner.

How much does it Cost?
There is no cost. The New England Job Show will tape your presentation as
a public service. You can use your pitch to help market your skills to
employers via the Job Show's on-line database and through other broadcast
delivery features.
