Evening Networking:  “Understanding and Dealing with Procrastination”

 Learn what procrastination is and what it isn’t. During this workshop we will explore where, when and why so many of us continue to do this. How to manage it more effectively. What are some of the more novel approaches to overcoming it.

 Presenter Doug Horbel has provided outplacement, career management and life coaching support to individuals in a broad spectrum of professions and industries. He has guided clients from diverse backgrounds to take charge of their careers, strategize their direction and produce effective action. Doug holds a BBA from Manhattan College, NY, and is a CTI Certified Professional Coach.

This presentation is centered on the idea that “how you think about a problem, is more important than the problem itself.”  This session will focus on solving the problem of unemployment via a different mindset.

Learn how using the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind in everyday actions can help solve problems and discover why volunteerism can be an effective method of tapping both parts of our mind while increasing the ability to network.  Our guest speaker is Linda Beaver.
