Warehouse position.  Must be at least 25 years old.  Duties include:
 
filling oxygen tanks according to FDA standards
cleaning medical equipment
delivery of medical equipment  
Some heavy lifting occasionaly required 
 Must have valid driving license with a good driving record
good communication skills and the ability to work as a team is a plus
A CORI check is required
12-13 dollars per hour
must bring their driver's license and a copy of their driving record with them to the interview

ARS Direct is currently seeking a Production Shift Supervisor / Manager for their client in Woburn, MA. This person will be responsible for the assigned production shift and production lines while maintaining or improving production standard performance by hour/shift, through active on-going personal supervision.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

 

  1. Ensure that the lines are properly staged, and prepared for a start up as close to shift start as possible, and/or manage the shift change flow-through so as not to impede on line performance continuity.
  2. Supervisor/Manager must ensure that line crewing is consistent with standard crewing guidelines as well as keep accurate accountability for all employees (full-time and temporary) that are on your respective shift.
  3. Must provide crew with on going training and coaching to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) are maintained. Also training for product quality, plant safety and line/plant productivity.
  4. Maintain clean and safe work areas consistent with Quality Assurance recommendations and standards.
  5. Work through your line Supervisors to ensure that they are planning back-up assignments for each line crew should the line go down, ensuring labor cost productivity.
  6. Ensure all required record keeping and paperwork is complete and accurate by all of the Quality Control Technicians on your respective shift.  This will require continuous auditing to ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
  7. Work with maintenance personnel as necessary, and/or also write work orders for all recommended maintenance or improvement recommendations.
  8. Report all unsafe conditions to maintenance and Plant Manager in a quick timely manner.  Supervisor/Manager is required to address unsafe acts directly with the employee quickly
  9. Supervisor/Manager will provide Plant Manager with employee reviews and promotion recommendations.
  10. Supervisor/Manager needs to work with minimum supervision, making business decisions relative to his/her operation responsibilities.

Requirements

·         Must have hands on experience in a supervisory/ management role in the food or beverage industry

·         Must have strong knowledge of food standards: GMP’s, HACCP, OSHA, etc…

·         Must be organized and have excellent communication skills

·         First and second shift are available.
